Important: This notice applies to situations where BeyondA1C or MedicaMetrix receives protected health information (PHI) as a business associate of a covered healthcare entity. The BeyondA1C website itself does not collect health information from individual patients.

Our role under HIPAA

BeyondA1C and MedicaMetrix may function as a Business Associate under HIPAA when we provide services to covered healthcare entities, such as hospitals, clinics, or physician practices.

How we use and disclose PHI

As a business associate, we may use PHI only to perform our contracted services. We do not sell PHI. We implement administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect PHI from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

Your rights
